I make a LOT of mushroom bacon, mostly out of king oyster mushrooms, but I wanted to make an easier version… from a mushroom everyone can find… the portobello… now usually with the portobello mushroom people simply slice it up and throw it in marinade… that comes out good, but still very mushroomy…. I wanted to do it a new way.. a way that brought more bacon flavors and textures to this easy to find mushroom!
